ELAINE VAN DER MERWE (OWNER OPERATOR)
My name is Elaine van der Merwe. I am married to Nico and we are blessed with two wonderful children. Mia and Nickson. Nico and I bought Tiny Footsteps October last year and we have made many exciting improvements. Being parents ourselves we love educating your child and nurture their capacity for learning. We have worked in Education for over 14 years. I have worked as a New Entrant Teacher (specialising in play based learning) and I have also worked with students with Special Needs as a RTLB (Resource Teacher for Learning and Behaviour). I believe that all children are unique and have something special they can bring to their own education. I would love to meet with you in person and show you around our Centre.
Take the time to visit Tiny Footsteps and you will find a centre like no other. We have trees, lots of outdoor space, natural environment, with a wide variety of resources and an established team of teachers that are fully qualified.
We educate your child mentally, physically, emotionally and prepare them for success at school with our school readiness program.
We are licensed for 27 children Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 5:00.
Our teacher child ratios are much better than the government requirement meaning your child will get specialized individual attention. Our program accommodates the needs of children 0 to 5 years old.
